Bird owners often prefer to get a cage that fits their need as well as their budget. Therefore, they are looking for a cage that is very versatile in terms of space and it can fit many different birds. The perfect choice for these needs are flight cages. These cages are great to have for many smaller parrots and breeding birds as well. It is a must have for many bird owners.

The cage is amazing and fits great for birds because there is a lot of flight space so the bird can fly back and forth. This will fit many types of birds such as canaries, finches, and budgies. These types of birds love to fly across and back.

Birds do not fly like helicopters. If you have ever watched birds fly, they do fly up but they go diagonally and generally prefer to fly horizontally. The wider the cage, the better it is for the birds.

To be able to fly easily is one of the more important things for birds because they need exercise. The more opportunities they can fly the fitter they get. Flight cages are made to allow birds to fly well and have much room for it.

Exercises are what birds need because if they stay stationary in the cage they will start making negative behaviors so the more exercise the less bad behavior it will have.

You would have to be a bit more considerate when it comes to bigger parrots. They are not used to this type of space so you may want to try to place them there for a little bit before they get used. Although these cages are not great for parrots, but generally you might want to consider a double flight bird cage so that the parrots do actually have more room and hang around.

Ultimately parrots need much more space to fly than small birds. Double flight cage may not provide this function but then again most cages cannot be big enough for a parrot to fly back and forth.

One extra function of this cage is that it can serve as a medium for bird breeding. Flight cages allow for a lot of room for small birds to get introduced to each other. Double flight cage does provide this function by having multiple birds to get to know one and another before mating. The larger room allows them to fly about and be happy. If they are not familiar with each then mating might not occur.

Flight cages are of great value and not too bad in terms of money. It is a good cage to start for many smaller birds or small parrots. The space is great and there is plenty of room and also a shelf on the bottom. With several feeders and perches available, cages make it easy for small birds like budgies and finches to have a wonderful time.
