Dog Insurance: Why You Should Have Dog Health Insurance
Written by Geraldine Dimarco on November 30, 2009 – 9:30 am -Have you ever considered getting dog insurance to cover the medical expenses and veterinarian care that your dog or puppy may need in the near future? The truth is that most pet owners do not consider taking out dog health insurance until they experience an unplanned visit to the veterinarian to treat an injury or illness, which ends up costing hundreds or thousands of dollars. How easy would it be your dog or puppy to break his leg? It happens every day, regardless if these pets stay indoors or are allowed to roam free in the yard. And can you guess how much it will cost you out-of-pocket? The average veterinarian costs for a broken bone is around $900. The monthly premium for dog insurance is pennies compared to such an expense for medical... more

Network Marketing And The Quality Of Life
Written by Cydne Buckley on November 30, 2009 – 8:01 am -The winter season of 2000/01 we made a decision to go to Palm Beach, Fl and find out what was going on there. There was no mystery. My spouse found a job at a posh hotel which was on Coconut Row. I was hired as makeup artist at Donald Trump’s Maralago Salon. I was missing my big bouncin’ beautiful brown-eyed boy Jackpot, my greyhound. I was researching the Italian greyhound breed and was net-working with a woman who was involved with rescuing this breed. We agreed to meet at the Boynton Beach Mall because she would be there to represent SADSAC/Save a Dog Save a Cat. I’d just missed her, so I started chatting with a rep of the rescue organization. I was describing my Jackpot and she began to describe a greyhound/pointer mix... more

How to Buy Horses at Auction
Written by Duber Stewart on November 28, 2009 – 7:38 am -It is quite possible to buy a good horse for a low price at an auction, but there are often more problem horses than good horses so you need to be able to tell the difference. At most auctions, horses are sold ‘as-is’ and without guarantee, so if you find a problem afterwards you likely won’t be able to get your money back. Therefore, you need to do your homework in advance to pick out which ones meet your criteria, after eliminating the potential problems (e.g. injured, sick, bad habits, or behavioral issues). The first step is to arrive well before the auction starts, so that you have sufficient time to look over the horses. Watch the horses are they are being unloaded and walked to their pens. The horses should display overall... more

You will notice things in their behavior before anyone else, almost like one of your children. Keeping a close eye on changes and determining if they are acting abnormal can quickly pinpoint key health symptoms. Having some, basic knowledge of common illnesses will let you know more quickly if a trip to the veterinarian is in order. Always remember that early detection of health problems is a key in successful treatment. To detect things early pay attention to even small changes in personality or behavior. For instance if your pet is normally outgoing and friendly and all the sudden is hiding beneath the furniture or whining when you pet him that is a good... more

Creating a Healthy Chinchilla Cage
Written by Dirk Hoshaw on November 26, 2009 – 1:12 pm -Getting a chinchilla cage is very exciting. Part of keeping your pet healthy will be setting up a cage that is made for chinchillas. Setting up the cage in a cool place that does not get drafty will help to keep your pet healthy. Chinchillas overheat very easily so it is important to keep their cage away from heat and direct sunlight. Getting a wire cage that is tall and has at least a 24″ x 24″ floor will work for your chinchilla. Vinyl and plastic will not be healthy for your pet because they like to chew on these items. Do not put anything in the cage that has a vinyl cover or is made of plastic. Put shelves and ladders in the cage for the chinchilla to climb on. This will be how they get most of their exercise and they like to... more

Written by Roshan Goodman on November 25, 2009 – 5:02 am -Every week water must be added to your fish tank, because of evaporation. A few tips can help your tank be happy and healthy. To have successful replenishing of the tank water you need to know the type of water, type of fish, and how to get the type of water.
